Ryan the Robot

Ryan is a shiny silver robot. Beep, bop, whirl! He touches his cold metal chest. He wishes for a warm, thumping heart.

Ryan looks all around. Clank, clank, clank go his heavy feet. He sees a fluffy puppy with a happy heart. But Ryan only has gears and wires.

A little boy runs to Ryan with a big smile. He gives the robot a giant, soft hug. Then he sticks a bright red paper heart right on Ryan's chest.

Ryan feels something new. Thump, thump, thump! He feels warm and happy inside. Now Ryan has the very best heart of all.
