Tiny Sir Reginald walked into the dark Whispering Caves. Today was his final knight test! He held his favorite plush toy, a soft green dragon, tightly in his small hands.

Deep inside the cave, Reginald met a real dragon named Barnaby. Barnaby was very big, but he looked very lonely. "Hello!" Reginald said, holding out his plush toy.

Whoosh! Barnaby snatched the plush dragon right out of Reginald's hands. He hugged it tight and hid behind a big rock. "Mine!" Barnaby growled softly.

Reginald wanted to play together, but Barnaby the dragon turned his back. He would not share the toy at all. Reginald felt a big tear roll down his cheek and wanted to cry.

Reginald took a deep breath. Instead of getting mad, he had a friendly idea. "Do you want to play catch with it?" Reginald asked with a brave smile.

Barnaby the dragon stopped hugging the toy. He looked at Reginald, then gently tossed the plush dragon through the air. Reginald caught it and laughed!

They took turns throwing the toy back and forth. Barnaby smiled a giant dragon smile. He loved sharing and playing with his new friend.

Suddenly, the Knight Commander walked into the cave. He clapped his hands and handed Reginald a shiny golden Shield of Kindness. "You passed the test, Sir Reginald!" he cheered.
