Do I need to be able to draw or write?+
No. You supply the ideas — characters, the kind of story you want, any details that matter — and Scribbin drafts the words and creates the illustrations. You can then edit as much or as little as you like.
Can my child help make the book?+
Absolutely — it's one of the best parts. Children can choose characters, pick between story pitches, and art-direct the pictures. (Accounts are for adults, so it's a together activity.)
How much control do I have over the story?+
Total control. Every page's text is editable, every illustration can be regenerated with your instructions, and you can add storytelling guidance up front — a moral, a theme, or a topic to weave in.
What does it cost to make a book?+
Signing up is free and includes 20 free Story Tokens. Illustrations cost 5 tokens each (story text is free), so a typical 8-spread book uses about 45 tokens — the £5 Starter Pack covers it.
Can I sell or share the book I make?+
You can share your book publicly in the Scribbin library, keep it private, or share by link with family. Printed copies are for personal use.
