My grandad and me

By Willow

A big advantage for me and my grandad so mush fun

The warm sun is shining bright today. Willow puts on her tiny shoes with a big smile. Grandad Craig opens the front door, ready for a new adventure!

Willow has bright blue eyes and soft blonde curls. She bounces up and down because she loves to explore. Grandad Craig holds her hand so tight.

Page 9

Step, step, step! Little Willow is walking down the path. Grandad Craig matches her small steps with his big ones.

Page 11

"Let us go to our favorite place!" says playful Grandad Craig. Off they go to the park, happy as can be.

Page 13

Shh! Stop and listen! What is that sweet sound high up in the green tree?

Page 15

Tweet, tweet, tweet! A little feathered bird is singing a bright morning tune.

Page 17

Grandad Craig claps his big hands to the sweet song. Willow claps her little hands, too. Clap, clap, clap!

Page 19

The cool wind blows through the tall trees. Swish, swish, swish! The colorful leaves rustle and sway.

Page 21

Grandad Craig stomps his feet in the pile of leaves. Stomp, stomp, stomp!

Page 23

Willow giggles with her bright smile. She stomps her tiny shoes right next to him. Crunch, crunch, crunch!

Page 25

"Time to dance!" calls Grandad Craig. He wiggles his shoulders to the natural music all around them.

Page 27

Sweet Willow twists her hips and sways her arms. She loves dancing with her grandad so much!

Page 29

Look ahead! They finally reach the big green park.

Page 31

Other children see Willow and Grandad dancing. Everyone laughs and runs over to join the fun!

Page 33

Outgoing Grandad Craig leads a giant musical parade across the lawn. March, march, march go all the happy feet!

Page 35

Willow claps and bounces to the drumbeat of their steps. Ring, ring, spin, and shout!

Page 37

The park is full of music, bright smiles, and cheer. What a wonderful parade!

Page 39

Soon, the fun musical parade comes to an end. Willow's tiny legs are getting sleepy.

Page 41

Grandad Craig lifts Willow onto a cozy park bench. They sit together and snuggle in the warm sunlight.

Page 43

Willow rests her curly head softly on Grandad Craig's arm. Grandad and Willow are the very best of friends forever and ever.
