For all children who love big red buses
Groovy was a grand, open-topped red bus who loved exciting adventures. He lived at the bus depot with his kind driver, Keith. Every time the sun shone, Groovy could not wait to rumble out into the sunny countryside.

One bright morning, Keith was polishing Groovy's shiny paintwork before a big trip to the Peak District. He gently pushed on one of the front wheels and gasped. "Oh dear, Groovy! You have a wobbly wheel!"

Keith brought out a big heavy wrench to fix the wheel. He pulled and grunted with all his might, but the stubborn nuts would not move at all. Groovy gave a low, sad metallic sigh.

Suddenly, a tiny grey mouse popped out from under the chassis. "Need a paw?" squeaked Squeaky. "I know a secret! A very gentle tap in the magic spot can loosen stubborn nuts!"

Keith took a small hammer and gave a tiny, gentle tap right where Squeaky pointed his whisker. CLICK! The stubborn nut turned, and Keith tightened the wobbly wheel until it was perfectly safe.

"You are a genius, Squeaky!" laughed Keith. "You deserve the best seat on our big trip tomorrow!" Squeaky glowed with pride and twitched his whiskers with joy.

The next morning, Groovy rumbled smoothly through the green rolling hills. Squeaky sat proudly on a cushion next to Keith, nibbling a delicious piece of cheddar cheese.

When a little boy dropped his ice cream at the picnic spot, clever Squeaky even found a sweet Bakewell Tart to save the day. Groovy gave a happy "BEEP-BEEP!" as his wheels rolled smoothly all the way home.See you on the next journey.
